It’s on again! Bigger and better than ever!

Mark it in your diary! The Murrumbateman Field Days is on again, this October 16 and 17, 2010.
Now in its 31st year, the Murrumbateman Field Days in the Canberra region’s biggest small farm event – showcasing more than 400 exhibitors over two big days and with lots of fun and activities for the whole family.
Located at Murrumbateman, on the Barton Highway between Canberra and Yass, the field days bring together all the information, supplies and services that are essential for operating a small rural holding.
This year’s event will include:

• farm machinery of all types
• water tanks
• specialty foods
• trees and plants
• a range of clothing
• farm and workshop tools
• community and support groups
• helicopter rides
• vintage tractor and machinery displays
• vintage tractor pull
• patting paddock
• sheep dog demonstrations
• shearing demonstrations
• chainsaw art
• Rural Fire Service display
• adventure trail, face painting and balloons for the kids
• Demonstration kitchen

It’s expected more than 20 000 visitors will come to this year’s field days over the two days.

Hours: 8am-5pm Saturday and 8am-4pm Sunday
Admission: adults $15 per day, children 6-16 years $2 per day; adult weekend pass $25, family weekend pass $50.
